Sunrise Sunrise, feels like morning in your eyes

Hello hello,
So if you remember from my last post, I talked about wanting to participate in blogger challenges.  I wanted to do Bloggers do it Better, this challenge called for pairing a neon color with a neutral.  I racked my brain and searched my closet for these two items.  Although looking through the pictures, my shirt looks more like a pale yellow rather than a neon yellow but A for effort right?

I was not feeling well this week and I did not get to post my pic with Pretty Shiny Sparkle for this challenge :/.

 Um so I'm not sure how I feel about these shorts.  I love the material, it's very soft and I like the pleats but I don't know if the fit is very flattering on me?  Luckily for me my stepmom did not see this outfit.  Whenever I wear khakis, camel toned clothing or my fedora she tells me that I look like a tourist lol.
