Beetle Juice Bettle Juice

I had a date today :), nothing serious on my part; I went for the food and conversation.  We went to Elephant Walk in Brookline.  It's a Cambodian French restaurant.  If you live in Boston, you should definitely check them out.  They, like a lot of other restaurants have a prix fixe menu.  However Elephant Walk has a variety of choices for the prix fixe option.  Conversation was great, but there's no love connection.

 On to this dress.  I have had this dress for several months.  I purchased it because it was $10 and I thought that the design was really different, and I am trying to break out of my regular outfit choices.  I wanted to challenge myself into wearing something that I would not normally wear.  I'm pretty simple, so the idea of wearing a not gray not black dress with a huge beetle on the front did not immediately appeal to me.

I don't know what spurred me to wear it tonight, other than the fact that I had yet to wear it, and I wanted to give it a shot.  I paired it with black sandals and a red clutch which I neglected to take a pic of.
