On To The Next One

I hope everyone is doing well!  The following pics are from August 11th.  I had a going away mixer.  It was a good turnout.  It was really nice to see some old and new friends all in one place before I had to leave.  I just hope everyone doesn't forget about me.  I have at least four different modes of communication: email, Facebook, Skype and Twitter, so my friends and fam have no excuses!

I love the color and skirt of this dress, but just like my commencement dress; the boning is way too constrictive for me.  I don't know how ladies in the 16th and 17th centuries did it.  I need to be able to eat and breathe comfortably.  That is not possible with this dress.

The detailing on the skirt is so pretty, I felt like a character in Mad Men (ignore the fact that I probably would have been the housekeeper).

Although I consider myself a pretty predictable dresser aka boring lol, I loved the idea of turquoise with the coral.  Overall I had a great time, and it was great hanging out with my peoples.
