The Party Just Don't Stop

Hi ladies and gents!
This will be a quick post.  I just wanted to show you some of my night time looks.  I don't go to the club as often as I used to, but when I do go I make it worth my while.  I generally only go to Caribbean Haitian events lol; but here and there you might find me at a regular r&b/hip hop night.

4/9/11 I love this burnt orange and blue together.  Reading fashion blogs and keeping my own is definitely allowing me to try things I wouldn't normally try.  I am so happy I purchased this striped body con skirt.

Forgive Me

Sorry for my extended absence & lack of posts.  I was in Quebec (loads of pics), celebrated my birthday (pics 2 come) and now finals and papers are kicking my butt.  I have been taking outfit pics though, and I will be back with a boatload of posts w/ fashionable pics this weekend.  I have been keeping up with all of your lovely blogs though.  See you loves soon.

Bonne Fete Drapeau!

Happy Haitian Flag Day everyone!

Pause, yes Haitian Flag Day is really May 18th, but it is being celebrated today May 15th because Boston hosts an annual parade for the occasion on that Saturday.  Local school children march and carry banners and a HUGE Haitian flag.  It's a beautiful sight to behold.  Very family friendly and the whole community comes out to show their support.  The down part about Haitian Flag Day, is that it rains every year.  All day!

Congratulations Michel J. Martelly

I wore this screen T to show my support for Haiti's newly elected President Michel J. Martelly.  Today is the inauguration.  He is Haiti's third democratically elected president.  #Tetkale (means bald head, his campaign slogan in reference to his bald head)

Happy Hour

I went out with my friend Z for Happy Hour.  In Boston, Happy Hour is illegal so they usually serve discounted meals in addition to discounted drinks.  We went to this fun restaurant McCormick & Schmicks.  Definitely check out one of their two locations if you're in Boston.

Aviator

I was on the hunt for a leather jacket for a very long time.  Not just any leather jacket though.  She had to be soft, supple, cognac colored and inexpensive.  Is that too much to ask for?  Yeah, I didn't think so either. Well ladies and gentleman I found her.  She's everything I asked for and more!
